Larry
enjoyed travelling all over the world with his wife, Barbara. He also
enjoyed jogging, relaxing at the beach, surf and fly fishing, and science
fiction books and movies. He was also an avid UNC-Chapel Hill basketball
fan.
He
was originally misdiagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in March 2024. It
wasn’t until a few days before his death, when he was already in 24-hour home
care, that neurologists confirmed he had CJD. He died at home, surrounded
by his family. We love and miss him very much.
