Posted on the first anniversary of Michael’s passing:

One year ago today, our hearts were broken.  You were taken much too young.  Your infectious smile and laughter would fill the room.

We miss you terribly, and you will be forever in our hearts and minds.

Michael was a very determined young man who loved sports, life and people.  He was a talented athlete in various sports who touched many lives in his short time here.  Michael’s illness began three years before his passing, when he suffered his second serious concussion playing middle school sports.
