Dick Wager-Smith

Dick Wager-Smith died of CJD on 10-21-06 at his home in Coarsegold, Calif., at the age of 77.

He was a realtor in Simi Valley, Calif., for 20 years before retiring with his wife in 1996 to the Sierra foothills where he continued to pursue his interests in cycling and koi ponds.

He is survived by his wife June, son Brian of Pine Mountain Club, Calif., daughter Karen, her husband Mark Mayford, and three granddaughters – Siena, Kiley, and Miranda Mayford, all of San Diego.

His ashes will be scattered atop Mt. Abel, an 8,300-foot-high peak near Brian’s home that he loved to climb on his bike.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends in Kansas City, Simi Valley, the Fresno area, and Northern California.
