Larisa Kanarchuk, known to many as Lee, was born in Byelorussia, outside Minsk, just as World War II started. Larisa dedicated herself to the welfare of her children and husband. She was determined to raise all-American kids and to give us every opportunity she could. She pursued her master’s degree in Russian at American University, hoping to return to her homeland to visit one day. At age 65, CJD set in. She passed away surrounded by love – love that was the product of the enormous love that she gave all of us throughout our lives. — Larisa’s daughter, Terry
