Maureen was a loving and caring daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and friend.
As loving as she was, she was also the first to make a witty remark and bring a smile to those around her. My mother was my best friend and a true role model, and I miss her every day. Maureen lost her battle with CJD at the age of 56. My mom would do anything to help others, and I hope to keep her memory alive and continue to help fund research to find a cure.
