Wayne Allen Valero

A great writer once said, “Life is a mixture of sadness, and joy and everything in between, but it is what you do with the in between that counts.” Wayne lived the “in between” to the fullest! That is what he would like you to remember!

Born in Coral Gables, Florida, to Ralph Hamilton and Rhoba Elouise Valero, he is the husband to Cristie, father to Jessica (Dave) Hogan, Ryan Valero and Meagan (Joe) Phillips, grandfather to Freddie Phillips and Emmarie Phillips, brother to Ralph S. Valero and Kenneth E. Valero.

An avid traveler, author, artist, playwright, collector of books, watches and art, Wayne was a member of Crossroads Church in Northglenn, Colo., and devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He retired from the Denver Post and was a former employee of the Rocky Mountain News and a member of the Mailers Local #8 & CWA.

He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
